Quality Source Completes Full Launch of all On Q Quality School Programs

Quality Source rounds out 2006 with the successful launch of the final On Q programs. During the week of December 11, Session 3 of the quality school (On Q, the Source for Quality Training). Held in Scottsdale, Session 3 provided in-depth training in Clinical Trials, cGTPs, Ethics, Six Sigma White Belt Training, Advanced Auditing, 21 CFR Part 11 as well as other topics.

The program was a hit, with participants enjoying learning about issues to be aware of with regard to clinical trials as well as the application of good tissue practices for blood and tissue establishments. Participants also gained practical skills to apply Six Sigma methodologies to routine problem management systems.

Earlier in 2006, Session 1 and 2 of On Q were successfully launched with participants attending from a variety of blood centers coast to coast.

The week of December 11 also witnessed the launch of Quality Source’s new Transfusion Service version of On Q. The transfusion service program was hosted by United Blood Services in Lafayette, Louisiana. On Q for transfusion services takes select On Q core material from sessions 1 and 2 and tailors it to transfusion services and hospital laboratories.
