QA Resolutions for 2008

I resolve that:

1. All BPD’s will be filed within the 45 days of discovery.

2. All white out even the hidden stash will be eradicated from the blood center.

3. All staff will practice good documentation practices No write over, no arrows, no “dittos”

4. Effectiveness checks will be done on all the corrective actions that have been implemented in the past year.

5. The ISBT 128 plan is completed and implemented by May 2008

6. All SOP’s, forms, and validations will be controlled documents

7. Quality Assurance staff will be not only welcome but include with open arms and smiles as an integral part of the operational team

8. Therapist appointments will be scheduled on a need to vent basis

9. Vacations will not include the beeper or berry or CFR or Standards

10. A Quality Culture will continue to grow and flourish in my facility

11. I will be an example of Quality practices by saying what I do and doing what I say

12. Be ever ready for our friends from the FDA
